i Think i have a loose,old or something motor mount...
i was doing some random **** to my engine today and i was pulling the throttle by hand, and my engine really moves back towards the cockpit area or whatever u call it....
looks like the very front motor mount could be loose or something... or old?
any one have a fairly new one or know how much they run?
im afraid to call honda dealer becuase i call them everyday just weondering what prices are for some parts

All 3 new mounts for my engine was around $110 from Honda.

I had to replace one of the mounts on the wife's 1996 Civic. Long story, but somehow, changing the belts degenerated into a bout with an air hammer.
In any case, the bill for all three drive belts (PS,AC, alt) and the motor mount was $53...I seem to remember the mount being about $35 or so. Heh, local dealer wanted in the high forties for the mount alone...list was 42 or so...go figure...stealerships...

When I had a mount break in my (formerly my) '92 Integra, the only symptom was shaking, not the engine, the entire car. If you have a broken motor mount, it's usually pretty obvious. Remember, we only think that $110 for a few mounts is a great deal because places like HASport charge out the ass for swap mount kits.
