brake ques. for 1stGenCRXer
I was thinking of changing out the front rotors to cross drilled or slotted, not really sure what would be best. I'm planning to auto cross sometime in the near future. Also, is it possible to change the rear drums to disc? BTW, I have an 85 CRX.
Any help I greatly appreciate it.
Thanks

Cross drilled or slotted doesn't matter, you don't need either one. A set of fresh plain rotors and some good pads will be fine.
Doing a rear disk swap is totally different on an '85 than on the newer cars with an independent rear suspension. You need to swap in a rear axle from a first generation Integra.

thanks for your help. I contacted HAPrecycling in Rancho Cordova, CA. They have the full rear disc conversion for $250. Sounds good to me. It comes with all the mounting hardware, hoses, cables, and new pads.
