what is the different between b16a1...
there is two friends that have an CRX VTEC-91 and the both with the B16A1, but there is different...VTEC DOCH

I dunno maybe year of the car? Oh yeah it's DOHC not DOCH.

Probably nothing, maybe just changed it when the engine was made or something.

I don't know about the b16 but the sohc vtec valve covers didn't all have the vtec on them some just said honda. Maybe different years had different writing.

I was under the impression that the US market covers had DOHC bigger, and Japanese market covers had VTEC bigger.

usually newer valve covers from say a del sol vtec, sir2 or a newer SI said DOHC bigger and 1st gen ones have VTEC bigger
