i dont know what happened
ok, yesterday i was out at the mall doing some christmas shopping, i got in my car drove, when i pulled up to a stop sign it just died, my radio shut off, turn signal quit blinking, and the clock went out, but i could still turn the motor, it just would start. i got out and checked for spark and it had none. i got back in the car took my cd player face off, with the ignition still on. as son as the face came off all power came back. it started right back up and i drove home with no problem. does any one know what happened here??
oh this was in my 88 hf

No spark would be distributor. However a similar thing happened to me before while I was driving my CD player died (not the car). Later that night my Alternator went up. So beware.

it's wierd that even your blinker quit working. That means that not only did the ignition die, but the electrical system was shut completely off. Sounds to me like there's a loose wire somewhere in your stereo system, and its causing a strong enough short to shut everythign down.
I agree with ForuthGenHatch, watch your alternator. Unfortunately Honda's are very prone to electrical system damage with even minor shorts.

like everyone said, check all the wires in your system
make sure all the grounds go to ground and all the power goes to power
if you have amps and stuff remove one at a time and see which one is causing the problem
