hey guys im having a problem listen to this....
i have a
built b16a
turbo from a ct26 toyota supra
has a msd
fmu
and a bypass bleed valve. has more but gives your a idea to work off of.
ok here we go.
the car will run and boost fine when the car is cold.
but when the car is warmed up and vtec works the car has a miss firing at vtec 2nd through 5th gear.
say you are driving it and you have the car wide open throttle.
1st boost nice
2nd breaks up and wont go past 5 k
3rd same thing
4th same
5th same
but only when its warmed up
ive also noticed that at idle the car you can hear once ina few seconds misfire you can hear the exhaust break up alittle

my timing is right. but i also have that serge at idle. and i have a niccce ticking in one of the lifters. but im not worried about that i need to get this miss firing fixed

spark plug gapping?


my buddy had this probolem and this helped but didnt solve it. plus what kinda boost r u running, cause his worked great at 5psi but went to **** at 15psi but that all changed when he got it tuned

right now im running 5 psi out of this t3/t4 but it runs fine when cold but breaks up when car is warmed when vtec kicks in.

your timing is off if your getting tapping from the lifters.

well the tapping goes away when you give it throttle and when you let off the throttle it will apear. that means the timings off??

what gap are you running on your spark plugs??
