Wipers / Arms
How do I make my wipers snug up tighter to my windshield? The reason I ask is that when my wipers go right to left they clear perfectly but when they come but on their way back down left to right the leave a streak right in my line of vision.
Now I know some will say replace the blades, did that...still does it. As well, when I get up to higher speeds on the highway my wipers tend to lift, if there are high winds at the same time my wipers will come inches off the windshield and become totally ineffective.
Any suggestions?

You could try those spring thingys that attach to your
wiper arms, to hold the arms tighter to your windshield
and prevent lift.
I'm not sure how well they work... it might be worth a try.
They sell them at Canadian Tire. Forget what they're called.

There are also some little wings that you can install to the wiper arm which helps to push the wiper onto the windshield during highspeed driving. My Subaru had them stock and they were nice.

Chris,
I tried those...two different versions...one was like a metal springy type thing that fell off once I was on the highway...the other was these plastic snap-on foil like things that 'blew' off once I was on the highway....dammit
Looks like it's going to be new wiper arms....sigh...($56 CAN a piece).
