Steering wheel lock prob
Hey guys. Just got a push button starter for the Rex. Steering wheel lock'sproving to be a prob though. Any ideas on how to disable it? Lemme know. Crxracer_21@juno.com

YES-you will have to take the thing apart. There is a pin that needs to be removed. You have to take the covers off the column and you will see the switch itself on the driver's side with a group of wires. The lock unit has special bolts that can be either sloteed (If you have a way to do that) or drilled out-they need to be replaced later.
Go to a dealer and have them print out the drawing of the lock unit or get a Helm before going any further-the pictures in it are excellent.
