Default Mini-me swap on hf block?

I have an 88 crx hf can i put the vtec on that and do the mini me swap or not?

it'll work fine, but why? the HF and DX blocks have a shorter piston stroke, which means less power no matter what head you use. Find yourself an Si (D16A6) block, and put the VTEC head on that.

won't work on an Hf block. Hell, you can't even put a DX head on an HF. The pistons will slap the valves. My good friend was going to do it last week, and couldn't get the car running because of it. 16 vales heads and 8 valve blocks don't mix.
