yeah, the old 5.0's do because there not as heavy. The next model mustangs, i believe they started making them in 93 or 94, they run mid 15's stock... haha... to much weight.. the old 5.0's and older mustangs are great cars, screw the new ones, a.k.a trend mobiles...

im sorry but my friends 2003 Cobra feels pretty damn good clocking in at a 12.8 ..

there fast, but not as fast as they should be, there competition (well, not anymore , bye bye camaro and trans am) blew them away in stock triming. Those are real muscle cars. I also think its funny that my friends non vtec (94 model) prelude with just an intake and exhaust blew the crap out of a brand new v8 mustang from 60 up on the highway, that guy was pissed.... hehe.. They just weigh way too much. The last models weighed over 4 grand I believe, thats why the old 5.0's were great cars.. i've seen those things run 11's at the track. (not at all close to stock, of course). But eh, to everyone his own I guess.

yeah. i think theres alot of drivers in general who dont know how to use there car to there advantage.. the mustang should beat the lude. hell my G60 corrado blows em away, and its nothin to brag about
