Give it an oil change and put the weight of oil that is best for your winter climate.

Rotate tires, check coolant and other fluids. Maybe put de-icer in the windshield wiper tank.

How good are the CRX's in the winter? Like snow driving, icey roads, etc?

Just get good tires, you'll be OK....it depends on your location (geographical). If it snows alot, get snow tires....plus if it's lowered, you'll be like snow plow.

They are rather lightweight, so they aren't the best to drive in the winter, but are front wheel drive, so it makes it a little easier.

So it wouldn't be a bad thing to drive the 'rex in the winter? I mean, if I get good snow tires for it, I should be fine?

Some people have beaters or other cars they use for winter and store their crx's. I plan on driving mine this winter, for it is my only car.

Yes, snow tires are a good thing. If you have nice rims and race tires, I'd recommend buying a pair of cheap steelies and putting snow tires on them.

My old 5th Gen Si had 16's and Toyo's on and it was HORRIBLE in the snow.

Yeah, I wasnt planning on running any special rims in the winter, just the Si alloys. I haven't got the car yet, but I think I'll be getting it very soon.. how big are the Si alloys? 15's?
