Default my CRX wont start sometimes.

i have a 91 CRX Si with a dc header, and cold air.. when it is very warm out side the damn thing wont start sometimes.. i will turn the car to the accesories(sp) postion to let the fuel pump prime, and it wont prime sometimes, but other times it wil. if it does thenthe car mmore often then not will start just fine.. it has been doing this for the past two summers.. i will try to start the car, and it acts like it just runs out of fuel. or it will just turn over and not start at all. i oretty sure its a fuel problem i just dont know where to start.. once the car gets started it wont die. it runs fine. .. my dads thinks it could be the fuel pressure regulator, i think it may have to do with some vaccum lines. but any help would be amazing. thanks

Default Ditto

Ditto on the relay, its under the dash on the left hand side, about 1" by 2" attached to a metal bracket held on by a bolt. Test it then replace it. Solved my same problem

Same here. The fuel pump doesn't have it's own relay; it's function is connected to the main relay.

I had to do mine not too long ago. My symptoms started that every couple of months the car would not even turn over, even after just driving around and parking for a few minutes. I'd mess with the + lead to the starter and could finally get it to turn over. That trick finally gave out, so I replaced the main relay and haven't had a problem since...except my ignition coil fried on me tonight.
