I'm starting a d16 project. I got everything install.. I came to a problem. That lead me clueless now.. I need some help.. Ok, so I got rod and 8.1 compression piston.. block guard, port n polish head. I'm planning on boosting up to 15 psi.. rite now i'm running 8 pound.. Before it was running great. I notice i was now reading boost. i found couple of air leak.. fix it.. now i'm reading boost.. on first gear it go up great and super.. spinning my tire from just a slow start. when i pop in to 2 or 3 or 4 or 5.. i have a problem.. the rpm just get stuck at about 4500 n sometime 5500.. if i take off on 2nd gear.. it goes fine. at 4500 n 5500.. it sound like its redline.. more like a 2 step.. n nope i don;t have a 2 step hook up yet.. i can to a Resister box.. i install it.. to my surprise. it ran great.. no more problem.. now in 3 days later.. i got the same problem as before.. i have another Resister box.. i change it over to see.. but its not.. I need help.. i'm clueless now.. by the way i got some 440cc injector.. on it.. whats making it choke and sound like 2 step at 4500 n 5500 on all my gear to redline.
