Your post said dual point as dual point dist.. but no this car has the 1.5 that has been worked and has the pgfi on it with the throttle body looking thing on it with an injector in it...

so it is dual point. there is 2 injectors inside of that and the same thing happened to my friends car. we replaced the ecu and it was the problem i kept locking up the injectors at random times we replaced the 2nd injector and it didnt do it for a while then it started mostly from a start. they are easy to get ahold of. i would go that direction if not switch it to multi port.
