Default b16 speed sensor

ive got the B16a2, its an electronic speed sensor
im going to sell the car but i want the speedo to work

the question is, will a mechanical speed sensor from a previous B series tranny work, and what should i pull it from.

im thinking a 92+ teg speed sensor would work but i dont know if they are mechanical or electronic, maybe this question is better suited for the integra forum?

i read an article about this a year or two ago but i cant seem to find it.

any help would be great, thanks

You can use a d series from obd0 or 90-93 integra also. They will both fit.

90-93 Integra VSS units are mechanical.
