my 90 civic wont start

i was sitting at my friends house waiting for 5 minutes and my car died i have replaced every thing on the dizzy but the whole thing... does the whole thing go out i have 180000 miles on the car please help i need my honda

yeah my engine light it fine im just notgetting any spark so i think that my whole distributor is bad ... is this common
