Default Please help!!!

Ok I have asked so many peopleabout the wiring in a 88 crx dx. What my question is, If I went from dpfi to mpfi INSTEAD of modifying the dx harness, Will I just to be able to plug in a SI wiring harness? I know everyone says just mod the dx harness its so easy but I want to know if I can just run the SI wiring harness. Thanks for the help ahead of time.

No you can not. The DX and SI harness will not match up, that is why you modify your harness.

The only way to do it without modifying your harness is to replace the entire car wiring for the SI wiring

definitly choose to wire the dx one if your lazy enough go to hasport or rywire for a cross bred harness but it is pretty simple i did one it was the last thing i probably worried about, since the IM bracket on that to the block was anoying as hell to get off, just get a helms manual and info what you need off the tips off the internet (not the wiring since different sources count pins differently, plus thats what the helms is for)

oh yea also take your time read the diagrams twice solder once

dontcha hate that about ef's, the dpfi thing only civic si hatch, civic ex sedan (rare!), crx hf, and crx si's are mpfi and the rest are just over glorified carb's
