It all depends on what motor. If you go vtec then you will need a different ecu, and you will have to run the wires for it.
If you go obd0 d-series then you just use the stock engine wiring harness and trans and mounts.
If you go obd1 d series (d16z6) then you need to do some wiring. You can use the same motor mounts and trans.
If you go b series non-vtec then i would suggest you find a 90-91 integra and take the whole motor, trans, ecu, and shift linkage from that car. You will have to shorten the shift linkage by 2-3/8. You will have to get a mount kit too. Dont qoute me on this but I have been told by a couple poeple here locally that you can use the da integra motor mounts but the motor sits too high for the hood too shut. My buddy is doing this so i will find out for sure if it will work or not.
If you go b series vtec then you will same as above in the non-vtec b series but you will need more wiring, and a vtec ecu.

swapping any engine into the 1st gen CRX HF is not an easy swap - first off for any swap, since the HF was carbureted, you will need to replace the entire fuel system, including tank, pump, lines, etc. and most of the wiring from a 1st gen CRX Si - the only D-series engines that you can use without custom fabricating all of the mounts is the 86-89 Integra D16A1 engine or the JDM "browntop" DOHC ZC, which is essentially the same as the A1, just higher horsepower (130hp) - for that swap, you would need the engine and you would also need the transmission, intermediate shaft, axles, knuckles/hubs, shift linkage and ECU from the 86-89 Integra (86-87 D16A1 is a little easier since it uses the vacuum advance ignition like the 1st gen CRX Si - 88-89 will require a lot more wiring) - you can swap a B-series engine into it by using the Hasport mounts, shift linkage and custom axles - these parts are not cheap and will run you around $1000 - you will still need the 86-89 Integra knuckles/hubs

well i got all the gen 1 si fuel system and all the wiring for it. will the axles out of the intagra work for the b-series swap or not? i think i want to do the b-series swap but if i do i want v-tec is that goin to be harder? and people out here keep telling me that i need to wire the hole car like a si. is this right
or not because the b-series v-tec is odb1 right?
or not because the b-series v-tec is odb1 right?

yeah i didnt think so. well it throw me off the hole tipe-r and all. so i was looking at the fuel system today and it already has a retern back to the tank will this work for the swap?
