Hmmh... I dont race on the street, but cool for you.. I guess..

I autocross, and well, this should have never happend because of autocross (usaly no need for hard shifts).

I did however find out that the guy who had the car before me didnt know how to drive, and was prob street racing people... So yea, it seen some abuse...

I get my flywheel resurfaced, and new clutch next week!

I cant want to drive it again! It has been 3 weeks too long... Grr....

I had the same symptoms before, but it turned out to be the clutch pedal itself. For some reason the little pin that the clutch pedal pivorts on had snapped, therefore not giving the clutch enough leverage to disengage. After replacing the entire pedal assembly, I haven't had any problems.
Your clutch does look pretty old though, so sounds like you found your culprit.
Congrats man! I hate not being able to drive my car.

That is very common. The metal that was used is too thin and over time it cracks at the welds, then tears, creating the issue. Usually you'll hear a squeeking/creaking noise before it tears most of the way. Anytime that I have a dashboard out I'll go ahead and remove the pedal assembly and weld in lots of reinforcement. Had one assembly break on me before and I swore not to let it happen again.

I will Keep that in mind if I ever have this problem again. :-)

It does suck not being able to drive my car... But I have been able to do a lot of maintenance to it since its up on stands in the garage...

Drained the Coolant and flushed everything.

Replaced my thermostat, unwraped all the wires and cleaned everything up.

Had plenty of time to do it. Now I just want to get the transmission on and GO!!!

I missed a Autocross today because its not driveable...!!!!

No fun
