Default 3 days left now!!! someone has to know..please!

Ok, I did everything right, this is not my first swap nor my first harness conversion. This is my first d15 vtec though. I cannot for the life of me get this thing to rev over 3k rpms. I have not driven it yet, but I could imagine what it would drive like. I have a IACV code and a CRANK code. It seems like it is in limp mode or like it is rev limiting at 3k. Please help me, this car has to be done in 4 days....109 degree weather and I dont have any other ideas . I need any ideas, no matter how crazy. the car is a 89 civic dx. I went with obd0.....I know stupid choice.I have now tried 5 different ecu's and 3 different distributors. please help

Timing might be off.....make sure your using the right dizzy. You might be able to clean the IACV if not you'll need a new one.

Check the wires for the crank position sensor. Make sure it is going to the right place.

Awsome!! found the problem, It was the wires coming from the crank sensor. The wire broke inside the casing in the firewall. I must have pulled on it or somthing. I couldnt see it because it was in the casing. I do have a little problem still though. This sucker will rev way up, but at 1800-2500 rpm's, it has a pulse. Its almost like the IACV....which I have a code for. I dont know, because isnt that control just idle? please if anyone knows. thanx

Take of the IACV and clean it with Chemtool or Berryman's (carb/fuel inj. cleaner) blow it out. If that doesnt take care of it the drive in the valve is burned up. get a new one.
