Default RE:Starter??

Whats up peoples chillen now. I think I need a starter but my ?? is I have a 91 Si EF w/ a B16A. Would any B16 starter work. Or it has to be for the 88-91 Si w/ B16.

When I go to start car up it cranks sometimes on 1st try then you here click then it'll start. =Don't think its distributor or timing off. Thanks

I'm having the same issue. Sometimes the car doesn't crank, but I don't think it's the starter for me. Maybe it's the ignition itself acting up?
If it is your starter though, b16a2/3 starters won't work, unless you're using the trannys off those engines(hydraulic). b18a1(90-91 teg ls) starter should work fine. 50 bucks off ebay.

check the cable running to the battery terminal to see if that little plate is loose, this happened on my car and my buddy's and it turned out to be that stupid cable.
