Default Help???? B18a1 in a 88 crx........

Im gettin ready to put a b18a1 in my 88 crx dx. I have the engine, the ecu, the tranny, wiring harness, engine mounts. I Know i need to get the axles, and shift linkage. What else do i need to do? Basically im just lost as far as the wiring goes. But, if someone can tell me, or show me with pics, or directions or something like that, i could do it. Any help would be helpfull, and i appreciate it.

Wiring is pretty simple... are you using a 90-91 (OBD-0) or 92-93 (OBD-1) engine? Some parts need to be swapped for the 92-93 engine to work properly.

Needed:
-Intermediate shaft
-Bitch pin
-Cotter pins for the axles and LCA balljoint
-Dent the driver's side frame rail to clear the alternator pulley
-Integra throttle cable

If you want to keep it going for a long time, you need:
-Clutch/Pressure plate/throw-out bearing and a flywheel resurface job
-Timing belt and tensioner
-Valve adjustment
-Throttle/choke/carb cleaner for the throttle body
-O2 sensor

Basics:
-New oil filter and oil, of course, along with new coolant
-Belts
-Clean the injectors
-Honda MTF for the trans

That's all I remember offhand.

hopefully you are using obd-0 motor because i just got a dx rex with this swap and it has an obd-1 ls motor in it and the dude did not know what he was doing. dont forget to convert your dpfi to mpfi.. and get a ecu jumper if you have the obd-1 motor. that is all i can think of right now..

I have a 91 crx si with a b18a in it. I just got it recently and I am having problems finding documentation for how to check everything as I think whoever had it before me hooked some stuff up wrong. I have a haynes crx book and its been great, but of course nothing to do with the engine I have. What I decided to do was to order a haynes manual for a 90-93 integra so hopefully that will help me look at some engine stuff.
