CRX Tranny To buy or not to buy?
I'm looking into buy a CRX for solo2 purposes. The one I'm checking out this weekend is an 88(?) with a blown auto transmission. If i can get the car for a couple of hundred is it worth it? What parts would the transsmission require to change it to a manual and prices?

Prices depend on where you get the parts. It can be anywhere from $50 for a junk car to $1000+ for new parts.
If the chassis is solid and you are confident in your mechanical abilities, it may be worth it.
You need the manual linkage, shifter, all bushings/mounts/bolts, pedal set, manual trans, clutch/flywheel/pressureplate, throwout bearing, and a bunch of other small beans. Minor rewiring is also needed.
