Default d15b2 conversion to d16z6

hi i have a civic 1994 EG 1.5 sohc non vtec dpfi d15b2 and have put in a EG d16z6 1.6 sohc vtec mpfi. im sing this forum cos im in the uk and no civic 92-95 EG had dpfi so im stuck with the wiring.

ive taken the whole d15b2 engine out and put in the d16z6 engine inc gearbox.

no on my cars wiring in the hood there are 2 bulkhead connectors which have wiring coming friom the car located near the air box. the wiring loom from the d16z6 has 3 connectors. the two dont fit in and where is 3 one gonna go.

then there are another 2 bulkhead connectors located near the other end of the car near power stering fluid. the d16z6 loom has again 3 connectors. same problem.

the wiring from the exsisting d15b2 car dosnt fit into the distributor either. and the intake amnifold wires dont fit either.

the d15b2 is dualpoint fuel injection and d16z6 is multipoint. can this have any thing to do with there being more connectors.

both engine are from a EG civic 1994 3 door hatch. im in the uk by the way.

any help would be grately appreciated.

basicaly its like converting a crx d15b2 to a d16z6 engine. now if someone attempted this they will know that d15b2 is obd0 and d16z6 is obd1.
d15b2 is dpfi and the other is mpfi and thats maybe why the wiring is diffrent. which harness shud i use exsisting d15b2 or d16z6.

thanks

Default

use the wiring harness that was on the engine in your car and do the wiring changes on it (add/modify) - just like doing DPFI to MPFI plus VTEC on a USDM 88-91 OBD0 CRX/Civic DX, LX or STD

Default d16z6

if i use the exsisting harness the plugs that goes into the distributor doesnt fit. if i change the whole behind the dash loom and change engine loom to d16z6 will this work. and also will this mean converting to mpfi is alredy done plus vtec wires added as i will change to the d16z6 ecu. thanks
