i was going to suggest bleeding the brakes at first...you could have had air in the lines but looks like you found the problem

So I've...

- replaced the RR and LR wheel cylinders
- flushed and bled the system twice with DOT4 fluid

and the pedal still goes very low to the ground. Granted it's no longer hitting the floor, but it seems dangerously low. I still have enough braking power to lock my tires, so is this mushy brake pedal charateristic of Hondas?

Update: I apparently didn't reinstall one of the slider pins correctly. It made itself apparent after a few miles when a loud ticking noise appeared. I fixed the problem, and the pedal feel is great now. It's much better than before, and no longer drops anywhere close to the floor.
