zc variations
A friend of mine told me that there were two versions of the zc motor. The only one i've ever heard of were availible in a 2nd gen. CRX in japan, and the early integra's (both have around 130hp and a 9.6:1 compression ratio good for boost), but he was telling me he read about a zc that has 140hp and a 10.4:1 compression ratio. so i was wondering does this high horsepower zc accually exsist? And if it does, what model car was it originally found in, and is it a dohc or sohc motor? thanks.
and i already searched, and couldn't quite find any of the answers i was looking for. this may be my first real post, so i might be considered a newbie, but i've been over in a toyota forum for nearly a year, so i know the rules!

Theres many ZC variations... From SOHC carbed to DOHC to SOHC with VTEC... All ZC meant was it was an early 1.6 liter JDM engine... As for 140HP, I think its just some sites have them listed incorrectly... So far Ive never seen a confirmation on the 140HP ZCs...
Info on the different ZCs:

Dosnt say anything about a 140HP version...
