Default Mini Project: Tail lights

Not a huge or groundbreaking project, i still think it is different, since i have not seen anyone do this.

Wanted a new, different, but not ricey look for the tail lights.

I had 88-89 tails on my 91 Si, then i picked up some ,new, all clear tails.
The tails are like the 90/91 style, with the trim like border around the light.
I masked off the appropriate area and lightly painted away. Bought the right color bulbs and there you have it, 90/91 style Red/Clear tails.
I like them, they fit very nice and turned out well.

Interesting, it certainly is different. I kinda like it. Where did you get the tails from? I'm considering using the clear OEM style tails and smoking them, but want a good product to work with.

Its not too bad... IMO it would look better a darker red with the center peice done aswell (but leave the reverse lights clear)...

That's exactly what these were, the OEM style, All Clear tails. I picked them up, new, from a member on Hondaswap. These all clear lights are hard to find though.

I still have the all clear center piece, and am still deciding what to do with that. Right now, i have the stock center piece in that i painted black. I really like the black center, it breaks up the tails.
