Default 91 CRX Si trade 4 a 94 Civic EX?

Let me know what u guyz think :

91 CRX Si w/ 80k JDM B16A1 lower'd fairly clean, some dents in the body, drives good, motor, and tranny is great. Interior needs a little work. Put about 500$ in it and call it great.

Trade for:

94 civic EX all stock, 150k put about 1200 in the suspension. Super clean, 16"TSW wheels, newer tires, just did the timing belt water pump and all of the other misc. stuff...

I want a faster car I can fix up, he wants my car.

I dont have enuff $ for a swap and wont for atleast a year or 2, but I do have enuff to fix up his CRX litle by little.

What u think?

I'd say no. You already have a lighter and more powerful car. Don't do it unless you really want four seats.

Keep in mind that I have done all I can afford to do to my civic, I want another car I can mess around with (new suspension and other smal upgrades). I dont need 4 seats, and I want more power...

To me this is a good deal, because it is what I want... But is it a good deal to you guys?

I dont know the guy 100%, but he is really cool about everything and lives just down the road, he could prob even help me work on the CRX if I ever needed a hand with anything.

To me, it seems like all the hard work is done. He said the motor is a JDM 80k B16A, he had the head rebuilt by a machine shop, and just got it all together and running a few months back.

I am lookin for a place to take it, so they can check the compression and stuff, to make sure i wont have any issues in the future.

As long as the CRX runs fine, but jsut needs some minor work I would say trade him ur 4 door for the CRX. If you know anything about B series engines, they are super easy to wrok on.

Id keep the crx, as long as its in perfect mechanical condition. Is there any rust on the body?

If it is a good deal to you, what do we care?
Your the one trading your car for something else YOU want.

IMO i would never trade a Crx for a 5th gen.

Way fewer Crx's than any 5th gen. Just my .02

If you have the civic, I'd do it.
