sound reduction
just bought a stocker 91 HF that i plan to run 7-800 miles/week(work) wanting to reduce as much road noise as possible.
anyone went down that path before? what did you use? undercoating? 'roadkill' 'lizardskin' spray-on, roll-on, peel-on?
any ideas? also;
DPO ripped the dealer-installed AC out of it. anyone got a whole AC package they want to part with. i mean everything-hoses, clamps, evap, condensor, compressor/brakcets... pictures....

there is this stuff that they use for installing stereos what not to reduce vibrations and noise its made out of like tar and aluminum forgot what its called can anyone help me out

Dynamat? That stuff is really heavy and not to mention, really expensive.
They have this roll on sound proofer for audio out there that works really well(So I've been told.) and isn't too expensive. I'll find the link tonight.

Is it really that bad with stock exhaust and intake?
Loading the car down with weight reducing shit is just going to make it get worse mileage, get some good quiet tires and you should be fine with the shitload of stock sound deadening.

i know-im being picky. yes-the road noise is significant. especially since im spending 1-200 miles/day in it going 60-70mph... gets a little tedious.
i know i bought milage but since i went from 11 to 50, im willing to give up some MPG for comfort. i cant imagine some brush/spray-on stuff is going to wieght that much.
also-i wont use dynamat-VERY heavy. lookin more for some sort of spray-on or so forth...
BTW-for those of you who need sound/heat barrier on your firewall you can get a great double-foil bubble insulation i use it in my hot rods on the firewall.
the CRX noise seems to be coming mostly from teh rear hatch area and wheel wells.
