Default Rough idle question.

I did a search, and came across some suggestions, such as bad motor mounts, dirty throttle body, needs tune up, etc. My 91 crx has kind of a rough idle. I just ran a tank of 93 octane(or 91, whatever it is) of Chevron with techron gas through it, with a bottle of the 4 buck STP fuel injector cleaner. It seems to be idling a little smoother. Is there anything else i could try to make it a little smooter, other than running the same gas again with another bottle of fuel injector cleaner, which i just did? I remeber all of the Hondas we've owned had a rough idle when they got older.

I don't think that's it, because i did that not to long ago. I'm thinking the dirty fuel injectors may be the cause. I remember, when i first got it, at 105k miles, the check engine light came on. It was the fuel injector code flash. I ran a couple bottles of fuel injector cleaner through it, and it solved the problem. It now has 180k. The check engine light has not come on since. Edit: I just saw where you have the same number of posts' as me. And, you joined almost a year later.

Is the only way to adjust the idle on this car, with the throttle cable? When i turn on the a/c, the idle is smooth. I forgot to mention that.

Should be a throttle screw...Its prolly smoother cause when the A/C is on it puts more of a load on the engine so it idles higher

Yep. It's at the throttle body where the throttle cable is. I've already tried that. Did'nt work to well. Because the idle was way to high when it quit vibrating(rough idle).
