crx si vs 350Z
OK... the funniest shit happened to me today. I was bustin down the highway in my 89 crx si with my buddy in his 94 gmc stepside(ZZ4), probably doin 105ish. We pass an onramp where a convt. 350Z (probably automatic) is merging.
Well the 350Z sees us slow up to about 70 so he gets beside me with a smug smirk on his face with his boyfriend in the passenger seat smirking as well.
He gives the sign as i dropped to 4th.
much to his suprise.... im neck and neck still dead even with him
both of these guys look like theyve seen a ghost
i actually inch up probably a foot or two until we get to about 120 and i see a big rig in my lane which im closing in on very quickly so i give a little victory wave as im laughing and engine brake back to my buddy, who is laughin his ass off too!
those cars are way too expensive to be that slow!!!

no... my dad has a 350z (6spd.)with a nismo intake and he shited agianst my car. we went from a 65-130ish,, i had him at about 80 then i think he shifted to 4th and said peace! he smoked me like a blunt..

Sorry, but I’m calling BS on this one.
I say this because my friends B16 CRX can BARELY hang with my s2000. (When I say barely I mean barely hang with in 5 car lenths before I feel sorry for him and I just let off) The only 350 I ever raced (granted his wasn’t stock and I was) got me by at the very least a full car, maybe more.

i do have a few mods but mainly my car is gutted(everything from the rear, ac system, heater core, everything hvac) weighs 1600 with me in it.
but thats not the point, i kno he was tryin, he knos he was tryin, but come on people! its a damn tank with a gvwr of roughly 4000 lbs!!! with only 280hp!
its all about power to weight ratio my friends, do the calculations to confirm my experience 1600 lbs with conservitily 115 hp vs 4000 lbs( i kno its fully loaded but this rich boy had his boyfriend and prob a system in the back plus it was a convertible) at only 280 hp.
