I would only get a stronger clutch if you're putting down alot of power to the pavement. Otherwise, I heard that it makes you're pedal real stiff.
U can use your clutch on most d-series engine, u just have to use the flywheel too. What engine were u thinking of buying?

You can't use a D-series clutch with a B-series engine/trans. They are very different.
Unless you plan on strapping a turbo or some nitrous to your car, stick with a stock replacement. You'll save money for a swap later... clutches have horrible resale value for good reason.

I wouldn't recommend upgrading the clutch if you don't have to. Like Kai said, unless you have forced induction down the road, stock is all you need.
And stock clutches will last longer than aftermarket upgraded clutches.

Yeah, like Kai and Schmoo said, a stock clutch is all u need for your zc, especially since you're switching to a b-series engine down the line.
By "stronger" clutch, I mean a "stage 1, 2, 3" clutch setup. stage 2 and 3 clutches are designed for high hp motors, to hold the clutch better to the flywheel, usually requiring quite a bit of stregnth compared to an OEM or stage 1 clutch.

I recently just put a clutch kit from Pep Boys in my car. It was around 150 bucks, along with an ACT streetlight flywheel, which was 200 bucks. I would highly recommend this flywheel, if your doing your clutch. The car easily gets 5 miles to the gallon more, with the lighter flywheel.

Your looking Exedy Stage 1 clutch kit (usually comes with clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing, and alignment tool) for which ever transmission you have...
88s are different from all others (spline on the output shaft of the tranny is different, also the surface area is smaller), 89s are aswell (the surface area is smaller like the 88s), and from 90-91 (and I think all the way upto 2000) are the same...
Cheapest place to get them:

And dont forget its always best to get the flywheel resurfaced...
