If you only get 23-30 mpg in your crx, you have problems. Even if it is an Si with the dohc zc.

Your gas mileage can vary a great deal depending on how you drive. (lots of heavy acceleration will drive the MPG down pretty fast.)

My stock D16A6 '91 CRX Si averages around 30 MPG in the city; and upto 42 MPG highway.

A factory style aftermarket clutch/pressureplate/throw-out bearing/alignment tool set should cost no more then $160 from any local parts place. A local machine shop can resurface your flywheel cheaply if it needs it.

Don't buy non-name brand parts from ebay. They are all trash with very few exceptions. One of my roommates bought one of those ebay "stage 3" clutches and it threw one of the hub springs after a few hundred miles. He was never able to get his money back, either.

You should at least average 30 mpg or more in you crx, regardless of how you drive. I used to get 31-33mpg, and now with the lighter flywheel, i'm getting 37-38mpg. I've never read where the lighter flywheel will increase fuel milage, but mine did. You may need a tune up, have a clogged pcv valve, pinched or disconnected vacume hoses, etc.

I've got a sohc zc motor. I just filled up again, and it got 36 mpg that tank. You could actually check all the hoses and pcv valve yourself. It's not that hard. But then again, if you're getting somebody to do a tune up for you, then you may not be able to. Also, make sure your charcoal canistser is all plugged up, including the hose coming from the bottom of it. Some poeple here speak of completely removing it, but you need to seal all of the vacum hoses if you do that, from what i read.
