Default b20 or b16

im having a tough time trying to decide if i should go with a b20 or a b16 witch would be faster in my crx.

b20 in a crx would be sick... my buddies and I have put in a bunch of b20s into the EFs.... they are sick cars with the right light modifications... its not neccessarilly power to weight.... its torque to weight with that setup :chuckles:

Well if a B series is what you are looking for, go with the B20 with a B18C head. If you got deeper pockets, K24 with a K20 head. There is a Civic at home with the K set up with ITBs and Hondata and it puts down 240hp to the wheel.

u can reinforce the walls on the engine on the b20 and boost 11+psi.... they can take up to 8 psi stcok *ive had a couple of buddies running stock b20 with a custom turbo setup* that be a sick setup....

with B20 block with a vtec head u do lost a bit of torque but u gain HP....

i have a buddy whos has a b20 high comp with a GSR head in an 86 civic hatch it run a 13.6 on the quarter mile but i cant afford a crvtec right now so for starters its either a b20 or b16

b20 then.... crvtec/lsvtec now a days are reliable when done right and they arent that much to build

B20 hands down, no comparison. B16's suck.
