Dash Swap
How possible is it to pull the dash out of an `87 Integra LS and drop it in an `86 Civic Si.
I know tons of other parts from these cars swap.
(I recommend if replacing headlight/wiper/signal switch get the 5dr Integra's switch and little rewiring and all good. And the switch feels much stronger, grab steer wheel too and you get 2 buttons (if cuise control) on wheel to wire up to what you want)

It was a real biach to do. The steering column support from teh civic had to be removed and the support from the integra welded in as well as the center mount. The sides I had to make custom brackets to mount them. The dash is approximately 3/4" wider so the door panels interfear with the dash. Teh teg door panels are 1" shorter front to back and have to be lenghtened to be useable. I am using extended integra top panels and custom made bottom halfs for the door panels. The dash sticks farther back into the passenger compartment than the civic dash and will have little clearance between it and the window cranks so I am installing power windows.
It is possible but quite an undertaking to complete.

Wow, nice job on that install, it looks pretty good so far. I have heard of it being done, but I never knew it was such a bi*ch to do. Welcome, BTW, we can always use more 3G drivers around here!

I'd have to find a 3dr to get the door panels to work wouldn't I? I've got a 5dr LS for parts already.
Hehe, If I'm bored I could make the rear vent windows power and use the extra window switches on the 5dr door panel to control them.
