They do not make a SOHC ZC vtec! You can get a SOHC ZC basically a JDM D16a6 and put a SOHC vtec head on it But there is no ZC that comes with VTEC. And there is a DOHC ZC.

gee, if they didn't make them, how can all of the importers be selling them and how could we have installed a half dozen of them? - try going to this site: http://www.japspec.com/regular/honda.asp, go down just a few lines and see what it says - i believe you will find the SOHC VTEC ZC - they look just like the one in this picture

Wow, cowboy. Go get that SOHC ZC VTEC and tell us how it feels. :: thumbsdown :: I have personally never seen it with my own eyes, therefore, that zc to me seems like an exact replica of the d16z6, period.

THe only ZC engine worth it in my opinion is the DOHC ZC non-vtec.

ZC is a generic term. The motor you show is basicall a Z6. What are the VIN numbers?

yes, they are basically the same as a Z6 (which i stated in my first post), but they still are ZC and have ZC engine code - do you mean engine serial number?

by the way, i also think the DOHC ZC is the best ZC - i am not a fan of VTEC engines - i was just responding to the thread which was talking about the SOHC VTEC engine and i suggested the ZC as an alternative

here is our DOHC ZC
