I'd go LS/VTEC. B18 block. I've read it's good for turbo because of the compression.

a 454 big block if you can figure out a way to get it to work but i dont think that is what you meant. But my assumption would be a h22 but i am sure that has been covered before so try and search for it through out the website. I am alomost positive that its an h22 other wise you have to lots and lots of major fab.

The largest you could throw in a CRX and still maintain driveability and reliability, is probably a B20... Some will argue H22, or K24, but those are pretty expensive to swap in, and youll also need serious amounts of fab work, and suspension work...

if you are going to build an engine up, go with the b20, if you are just gonna plug and play without building it, go with the h22 although, fitting it in will take alot of work, (ie: custom motor mounts, conversion harness, etc...) If you wanted a decent engine that truly is plug and play, think about the first generation OBD-0 B16A. Good engine to build with and play with !!! Anways, good luck with whatever you decide to go with.

Well, are you looking for the greates amount of HP, or biggest engine. If you have the money, I would go with a CRVTEC. If not, DEF go with a K20 Type R. The K20 Type R will blow almost all the engines away. They have so much potential in such a small package.
