EACV 1st gen Si
Hey all,
I have an '85 Si. The brief histroy is this. I blew up the stock engine so I swapped in an '86 'teg engine and tranny. The tranny was bad, so I grabbed one from an '88. I blew up that engine (both of these engines were "rebuilt" before I got them. $$Low though). I let it sit for a while and decided to go with a ZC. I had a couple of swap issues due to the right hand drive of the JDM Integra that I didn't find during my research on the subject.
Ok, now to the meat and potatoes. I've been driving the car for about a month and I'm pretty happy with it, but I'm using the stock ECU. There is more potential in this engine with just an ECU swap, so I decided to try my ECU I got with the 1st swap (PG7). I hit a snag. It runs, but it throws a code 14 because there is no EACV on this engine. What can I do? Does anyone have a Mugen ECU for a 1st gen Si anymore? Are there any other ECUs that don't require an EACV? Is there an external EACV I can use? Thanks, Jesse
