Default 89 CRX with B16A - Stumbling

I've been fighting a stumbling problem in my 89 CRX with an OBD0 B16A swap ever since I bought it from an idiot kid back in August. The problem is that out of nowhere, after miles at a steady cruise, it will suddenly bog and then begin stumbling. Goosing the throttle usually results in more stumbling, and even pronounced misfiring, but sometimes when you push the throttle past a certain point the engine will "catch" and begin accelerating normally. Pulling back on the throttle in an attempt to level it off makes it stumble again. This will go on for a while, and then just when it looks like I'll be walking home, the engine will begin running completely normally again.

In an attempt to correct this problem, I've been throwing parts at it for three months. I have replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter, spark plugs, coil, cap and rotor, igniter, O2 sensor, and timing belt, and I've reset the ignition timing to spec.

Do you all have any other suggestions?

Thanks.
