That is a Jap spec engine... Do you know if its SOHC or DOHC? If its the DOHC, finding the exact ECU (more common than ECM in the Honda world anyways) is gonna be costly and hard to find... The original JDM ECU, and the best, that runs that engine is called the PM7, but as I said, its getting more and more hard to find... Good news is, you can run 2 other ECUs... A decent ECU to run on it is the PG7 from a US spec 86-89 Integra, and the US spec 88-91 Civic/CRX Si unit called the PM6, is also a decent unit, but its best to go with the PG7 or PM7...

So in this order:
PM7 = Best ECU to run the DOHC ZC
PG7 = Next to best
PM6 = Should work fine, but itll run a little lean (others will run a tad rich which IMO is better)

As for your Dinan ECU, those are even harder to find than the JDM ECUs... Reason is, they only made a few Honda ECUs, they normally do BMW parts (they found BMW enthusiasts 'more loyal' )... In fact Ive only heard of a few people whove had them...

Now if its the SOHC, I would think the best ECU is the PM6 from the US spec Civic/CRX Si...

And make sure u get the right one for the right tranny... If u have an auto, get an auto ECU, if u have a 5 speed, make sure its a 5 speed ECU...
