man, autocross rocks. By far, the most fun you can have in a car with the seats up

I ran a 105, a 101, and a 98. Of course I was around 15 seconds slower than the experienced guys, but hell, I figure I did pretty good considering I run nothing but a 3/4 inch lowering and slotted rotors, and also considering I've been racing for less than 6 months. Hopefully next time I'll get to ride with one of the top CRX guys, and I can get a feel for what a CRX feels like running down in the 85's. weeeeeee:thumbup:

brakes?...hehehe...you up the power and increase traction to get the speed, the stock brakes can't keep up anymore

Actually, the brakes never went soft, I just didn't have time to switch over to performance pads, I was still running rotor-killers, so after the 4th good lap of running 100+ into turn one, they gassed and I had to overshoot and wait for clearance to re-enter the track.

Other than that, I definately need an oil cooler, the track was a 3rd and 4th gear track, but I was heating up the oil so much that I started hurting for oil pressure, so I was forced to run 4th and 5th and just torque around the track [which thankfully I have, the instructor even commented on how much torque it had for a honda].

And after those first two items, I really need to upgrade the suspension if I keep doing these events....

i'm notoriously hard on brakes...so upgrading brakes are a higher priority for me
