I just figuredout that I got a short ram intake not a CAI. To me this means, less hassle to install. I have 2 questions.
1. What are the differences between CAI and SRI?
2. When I install, do I take out the oldblack vaccuum thing?

Cold air intake obviously sucks in colder air because it is where the wheel well is. SRI you will have more low end power, CAI more high end power

Yes you take out the old vacuum thing, it is useless. Installing a cold air intake isn't that much harder to do

1. A short ram intake is basically that. It's a short pipe that doesn't travel too far away from the throttle body. A cold air intake is a long pipe system that goes right under the wheel well. It draws colder air hence the name "cold air intake."
2. I don't even know what the hell that black thing is from the picture, but if it is attached to the stock airbox, then yeah, remove that sucker.
