Default B16A1 Auto in a 1990 DX Sedan Possible?

I just need to know if it's possible and where i can get ahold of the Motor/tranny/Ecu and misc. parts for the swap.

Thanks,

More than likely.

www.hmotorsonline.com --sells the engines, but I've only seen the engine packages come with 5spd, so I don't know about the auto?

Any particular reason you want auto?

Or is the car itself already auto and you don't want to have to convert to standard?

Yeah basicly, I would prefer to keep the auto all i have ever owned is a auto and it's a daily driver and Im more of a show than go type of guy so i don't care much about having a manual over an auto or anything.

Oh, well, I wish you luck, but you might have a little more of a problem finding the automatic transmission, as most of the sites that import the engines prefer the std. because they sell better.

dx = dpfi so you will need to do a mpfi swap on the car
auto mounts in ef chassis = I dunno were your going to din mounts for the auto trans. With a b16a in an ef you need a mount kit like hasport. They do not make an auto one.

All show no go, forget it not worth the time.

Right now u're most likely runnin a d-series tranny, but here's 1 possibility u can get an auto trans off of a 2nd gen integra, stock they came with a b series engine and I know u could get em in automatic, I think u're not going to take advantage of all the power though. As far as I know there is no d series trans conversion packages.

I thought honda B-series dont come with auto's?? your car will be a D-series which means your new B-series engine wont fit your D-series tranny, and as they didnt sell B-series with autos ur not gonna get one. DMD747 says and 2nd gen b-series teg could of had a auto tranny? I'm not sure bout that, but if it is then thats your only hope as far as i can see if you REALLY wana stick to auto.
If your a "all show no go" type of guy i dont get why you wana put a B16 in it?? Is it becoz your engines broken?

You can buy an auto tranny for a B16a. Check Ebay
