UPDATE:: Got the car idling fine... took it out for a drive around the block & here are the problems:
1. Car irradically jerks above 3k... injectors or electrical... the main relay also makes
clicking noises here as it jerks. kind of like the ecu or ignition is turning on & off
2. When putting strain on the engine & letting clutch out suddenly the same thing
happens
3. My throttle linkage is sticking pretty bad... after I got back from around the block,
I pulled into the drive & was revving around 2900 rpm until I pulled back the
accellerator with my foot.

Any help with these issues would be appreciated. Thank you... and by the way, if anyone wants to buy this car, I'll go ahead and sell it.

It has a brand new Tokiko hp shock & spring combination all the way around (about $400, and handles great!). New paint job ($300 --nothing really special, but kind of Si blue color). DX 1.5 engine with the usual 30-60k miles... along with this is the dx 5-speed tranny. Body has about 125k miles, and car was the STD civic hatch with the small 1.5 & 4-speed originally (like I said, now it has the 1.5dx engine & 5spd tranny). Absolutely no rust on the body (was a FL car). Good tires & brakes. New plugs, wires, distributor cap. Has A/C, but there is a small leak. It worked when I had charged the system, so compressor is good. New water pump. Factory 5-spoke honda rims that I have never seen before. The rims have a very good paint job on them with a "polished" looking lip... I'll try to post a picture. Anyhow, I've put some money into this thing obviously, and there is something wrong with electrical (could need a new main relay) or fuel (could need new injectors). Either way, It runs great, just with querks... Like I said, the thing idles good & smooth, no knocks really that I know. I am in mid-west ohio near Lima, and would accept offers. Don't lowball me please, but feel free to make offers. Thanks.. I'll get pics up.

Hey! That's the color I want to paint my CRX! Looks good... BTW, your car jerking back and forth is almost definitely an injector problem. You're describing the EXACT same problems I was having, jerking at certain rpms, or when passing over a big bump, or when putting load on the engine and releasing the clutch a bit fast . Also, for your throttle linkage, it could just need some lubricant on the throttle rotor, or you can try some in the throttle cable itself.
Anyway, since you're selling the car, you gonna by a crx?

UPDATE:: alright, I ruled out the main relay as my problem.. the problem is DEFINATELY the secondary injector. It's doing the same things "RevengeCRX" just described. I unplugged my secondary injector & it does the same thing.. like it's not even working in the first place. I will get a new one & see if that works.. will keep you updated. Other than that, the car is running GREAT!!!!!! wohoo!

Glad you figured that shit out bro. I knew that was it! That shit was SOOO annoying with my old engine. But I decided to hell with it, why am I gonna spend another dollar on this crappy d-series, so I bought a b16. The car feels way faster, and doesn't have that ricer wine that the engine had. Oh yeah, I bought the complete changeover from the infamous hmotorsonline. It was actually super easy to install. Like 2 hoses, and 4 wires, made easier by the subharness, and that's it! Runs great!

UPDATE:: 9-30-05
I was so excited my engine was actually running well last night I couldn't sleep. I figured if the auxilary fuel injector was messing up, I may as well take it off the intake manifold and try to clean it up & that may fix something. So I took out both the primary & auxilary injectors & cleaned them with parts cleaner & a toothbrush, put them back in & went to bed..... this morning the car doesn't start I took them out again & the o-ring seals around the injectors were broken.. didn't know if they were just old & broke when I put them back in, or if the parts cleaner corroded them to where they broke. Either way, I am going to see if I can get new rings/seals from the parts store.. if not I'll probably be making a trip to the junk yard (not paying $75 each for new injectors just to get the ring seals!)

Before you do that, I found some injectors for my old d-series si engine on www.nopionline.com for like $35! You only need to buy the o-rings/seals.

Wow thanks.. $14 for the injector o-ring set from NOPI. I'll see if my local parts store has them in stock possibly & I won't have to wait on shipping!

Thanks yet again!

.. no parts stores here (autozone, advance discount auto) carries them or can order, and from the dealership the o-rings are about $35.... think I'll see if Lowe's or Home Depot have something that will work..... or do you guys think they'd be different? They're just regular rubber o-rings right? nothing special? Think I'll do that.. probably will only cost $2 then, and I won't have to wait for shipping.. Can't wait to take that D-series up to 7krpm again hehe.
