Type of Tranny Fluid
So I was checking out my Haynes manual since im replacing my tranny oil. It says " API grade SF or SG engine oil ". What do you guys use on your manual trannys?

I uesd Royal Purple for all my oil it's tough, long life, high performance oil that delivers superior protection and enhanced performance to gasoline engines.

Any 10W40 oil you can buy these days will work perfectly fine. That's what Honda indended you to use when the car was originally assembled.
Now, we have Honda MTF (Manual Transaxle Fluid.) This supercedes the previous 10W40 standard, or, Honda says you should use Honda MTF instead.
I've drained Honda MTF out of cars with fourty-five thousand miles on them and it still loooks factory fresh... it's good stuff and not expensive.
