Default sohc zc and d16a question.

Would the timing belt and water pump be the same on these two motors? Are these basically the same motor? Both being non vtec.

if you mean SOHC ZC (non-VTEC) and D16A6 (Si), yes, they are the same - D16A is JDM SOHC VTEC, same as D16Z6 and timing belt is different from SOHC ZC (non-VTEC) but is same as SOHC ZC VTEC

Alright. Thanks. So if i go to the parts store and get a timing belt, water pump, the tensior bearing thing, alternator belt, and a/c belt, i can just say for a 91 crx si. That is, even though it has a sohc zc(non vtec) and not the stock d series motor.
