no. the turbonator decreases horesepower as the fan motor wil never be able to keep up with the flow already produced naturally in the intake.

HMT even did a project of one to see if they worked... In a CRX even!

well home made turbo home made one, they didnt spend the money to buy one of the prefab ones and test it out, so to me it's stupid comparison, but i still think they dont work

Its an electric fan, its sits upstream on your intake...

Pretty simple design...

yes, but none the leass there are many different electric fans on the market... just saying if you wanted to make a good comparison to how they suck you should buy one of the "kits"

Sure, the project would be a little more credible if they had the real deal... But it still shows the same basic idea... The fan just wont keep up with the flow of the intake... No matter how fast it spins... Or the kind of fan... And just acts as a restriction...

I cant remember the site exactly, but there is one that describes taking a turbo off of a probe, the intercooler off a probe and some radiator hoses to create a homeade turbo. It seems like a good cheap idea, I might give it a try for myself.

Wont work doesnt move enough air if you want to prove it you spend the money and tell us how it was a restriction in the intake and decreased power while we laugh at you for trying!
