Default Single overhead cam zc in crx

My 91 crx si has this motor in it. http://www.hmotorsonline.com/shop/sc...age&item=30018
I just realized this. The motor was changed out right before i bought the car. I always thought it was the stock d16 motor. I just went and looked, and it has zc on the engine block. Question being, does this mean my car has approximately 14 more horsepower than the stock crx si with this motor? Anyway, i always thought my car had 106 horses. If i'm reading right, i have 120 horses. You learn something new every day. I was wanting to do the b16a swap, but 3 grand for only 40 more horses, i doubt i'll do it. Also, what car did this single overhead cam zc originally come in?

I had a SOHC ZC and modded the hell out of it, I finally swapped a B16a from www.hmotorsonline.com and damn the power difference was huge!!!!! and I did everything installed for under 3 grand, go with the B16 it is the way to go, I gurantee you that you wont regret it

Did you get you're ticking fixed? Was it the fuel injectors? Also, when you got your swap from hmotorsonline, did you get the complete swap for 1450 or the 1250 one? If you got the complete swap, did the axles that came with it fit?

No ticking isn't fixed, just bought some injectors, and I will put them in on saturday. And I got the complete swap and the axles fit fine, the only thing you need are motor mounts and shift linkage, which I reccomend getting them off of eBay like I did

Alright. Thanks for the info. Now i'll know which one to order if i decide to get it. I'd also need an a/c mount i think, because i'd have to keep my a/c.

I have heard of people swapping out their a6s for sohc ZC because it was a cheap price vs. rebuild and have not gained in performance.
