Default A few Zc questions....

Sup guys. I'm getting ready to order the blacktop but I have a few questions that I can't find a straight answer too. First off what header will fit it? IS it the 86-89 Integra? Next the intake, will any crx/si civic 88-91 work? And one last question what gauges will swap out in the car. I want a cluster with a tach. I know the crx's have them but what all will fit. Thanks for any help.

This may help answer your questions...
http://www.enginereplacement.com/htdocs/zc_swap.htm

Remember the Zc is basically a d series motor. Lots of parts will swap over.

As for the clusters, you can use ANY 90-91 Civic/Crx cluster, those are all plug n play.
88-89 Civic /Crx Clusters will not drop right in and plug n play.

Will a DOHC ZC motor give you noticable power gains from the stock motor that comes in the 1991 CRX Si?

use the 88-91 CRX/Civic Si header with 88-89 Integra exhaust gasket (which matches head) - the Integra header doesn't mate up to the stock exhaust correctly - the Si header from some manufacturers will need to be port matched to the head, as the ports in the ZC head are raised up about 3mm from where the Si ports are located - attached is picture of Integra gasket on Si header - the intake for 88-91 CRX/Civic Si works - CRX and Civic clusters are different and 88-89 clusters are different from 90-91 - either Si or DX clusters will work
