Default Feelings on exhaust

Just wondering if anybody has or knows someone w/ a 88-91 civic and/or crx with a MONZA Exhaust (which is made by Pacesetter). Here is a link to one of their catback exhaust on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33630 . I need an exhaust real bad, and I don't want to spend alot of money and it's really cheap for a catback.

thanks

Default if u want noise, buy it

If you want noise, buy it, if you want an exhaust to tide you over, go to midas, if you want performance for whatever you drive, save up and buy something proven on the dyno's. HKS,Greddy,Tanabe,Apexi(quiet), DC sports,

I personally like it. It gives that purring sound, but that is a personal choice

Every one that i've seen has holes rusted in it and looks like horrible quality work. They don't last. If you want affordability and performance you can build your own like I'm doing. VRS and K-teller sell exhaust piping kits for the crx and can be had for as little as 150 shipped for 2.25" piping. All piping is mandrel bent and comes with necessary flanges and hangers. Then you can get a nice hi-flow cat, resonator, and even muffler. My entire system is gonna cost me about 350 bucks max. I'm having a guy at a local muffler shop do the welding at 2 dollars per weld. If you want more help and info about this you can just PM me.

Hope that helps,
Keenan

I've got a pacesetter header on my 91 CRX Si. It developed a hole where the badge that tells the name is welded on. I took it off and welded it back. Other than that, it's been good.

here is the link to the VRS Exhaust website. Just look under tubing kits and you'll see it.

I'll let you know how my setup turns out. I just finished ordering all of my parts and everything is in the mail. My set is 2.25" aluminzed steel piping from VRS, magnaflow/carsound hi-flow 2.25" cat, magnaflow 18" long 2.25" glass pack in place of resonator, and a magnaflow aluminized steel 14" long body hi-flow muffler 2.25" inlet/ 2.0" dual outlet. I'll post pics and all kinds of stuff.

Hope I'm helping
Keenan
