Yeah this is what I am trying to figure out also in the other post. If its a ZC why did he put a ZC camshaft in it? The ZC doesnt have 130 hp but the dohc zc does. Read the block what does it say!

I didn't think that there was a JDM d16a6,wouldn't that make it a USDM motor?
Aren't the d16's here the stamped Zc over there??
What i am saying is there is no JDM motor stamped d16,they are Zc's?
The only true JDM stamped d motor is the d15b,correct?

Correctamundo... First off on JDM engines (other than the 'ZC'), there is only 4 charecters:
D15B
B18C
B16A
Ect...
They dont have the last charecter like we do here:
D16A6
So if your engine code has a 5th charecter, it is not JDM...
And the ZCs were in fact stamped 'ZC'... I know of one instance where Honda stamped a block 'D16A', and thats a very rare later model VTEC engine found in an AWD setup... Far as I know all other 1.6 liter D series engines are 'ZC's...
As for where they are:

All 1.6l D-series (D16) type engines in Japan where stamped "ZC." I have yet to see any evidence otherwise.

IDIOT!!!
The pic shows where to look and why the hell would you look at night?
Maybe if you cleaned off the oil you could find it!
Have you changed your headlight fluid lately or checked the muffler bearings? :lmfao:
